Hiking Stick Medallions
Mark Your Staff
The use of hiking sticks, also known as staffs or staves, is a custom as old as walking. In Scouting® in particular, it is as old as the Boy Scouts® themselves, nailing small medallions to the staff in a time-honored tradition to mark accomplishments or display affiliation. Northwest Territorial Mint is proud to have developed a series of such medallions for the Boy Scouts of America®. We continue the tradition in creating new custom hiking medallions for troops, councils, hiking or geocaching clubs, or any individuals or organizations wanting their own identity displayed on a staff.
